3 Ways To Change Your Attitude Towards Life

3 Ways To Change Your Attitude Towards Life

May 15, 20224 min read

It’s time for an attitude adjustment! If you’re wondering what is holding you back, you may need to change your attitude towards life.

I want you to take a moment to think about a time when things weren’t going your way. Maybe there was a time when something happened and you couldn’t do anything about it. The thing is, bad things happen all the time and we can’t always control them.

But, we can control how we respond to them.

The Power of Positive Thinking

It may seem small, but staying positive makes a huge difference in your life. If you want to change your attitude towards life, the first thing you need to understand is what a positive mindset can do for you!

Whether positive or negative, our thoughts define our attitudes. Our mindset changes how we view our challenges, trials, the world around us, and ourselves. We will actually start to look for evidence that supports those thoughts, whether they are positive or negative. If you have a negative mindset, you will start to believe things that aren’t true. Then, our thoughts will start to define our actions.

Your attitude is a choice!

Change Your Attitude Towards Life By Flipping the Script

Dan Matthews, a CPRP (Certified Psychosocial Rehabilitation Practitioner), explained that a negative attitude can destroy you. The most important thing you can do when you want to change your attitude towards life is to redirect your negative thoughts. He created a list of nine ways to flip the script if you are asking yourself, “what can I do to change my attitude?”

Every single one of the items on his list involves taking action. If you want to change your attitude towards life, you need to take conscious steps every day to reach your goals. You need to choose a different perspective.

It’s great to have a goal, but you have to take action!

Get Rid of That Negative Mindset!

As a Certified Emotional Intelligence Facilitator and Instructor, I understand just how much our beliefs and thoughts impact our choices.

I’ve also had a lot of personal practice struggling through my own challenges. I’ve dealt with a lot of self-doubt and trauma. I know what it takes to get out of that negative mindset:

You can either choose to stay in victim mode or choose to become solution-oriented.

You can’t only rely on manifesting to change your attitude in life. It takes some effort to get rid of that negative mindset and make an attitude adjustment.

Can Attitude Be Changed?

Absolutely! Here are the three things that I do every day to stay focused on the positive. If you feel like you are struggling with a negative attitude, making these three changes will help you change your attitude towards life!

1. Believe that you can make the change

Every single day, I use my Krystal Clear Life Planner to show up with gratitude. If you want to change your attitude towards life, you need to manifest, visualize, and meditate on that change! Organize your day and set it up with intention. Write down what actions you can take every single day to get you to where you want to be!

2. Get moving!

There’s a saying that says, “a body in motion stays in motion.” If you want to change your attitude, you need to take action! Getting an attitude adjustment through working out is the perfect way to refocus and find that positive energy.

3. Think about where your energy is focused

Where you spend your energy and what you are consuming go hand in hand with creating an attitude change. When I watch T.V., I look for positive, encouraging, and powerful stories to lift me up. If you allow yourself to consume negativity and focus on the negative, your brain will only be able to process negativity. That is completely draining!

How to Change Your Negative Attitude

By visualizing what you want, taking action, and focusing your energy on positive sources, it is completely possible to change your attitude towards life! I have seen first-hand in my own life how these small things can completely change your mindset.

If you’re ready to choose a positive attitude, the first thing to do is to start visualizing what you want! My Vision Board Workshop is coming up really soon, and you won’t want to miss this great opportunity to turn your dreams into achievable goals!
